Mashup, Remix, Dj.
I have a new respect for the dedication music bloggers dedicate to their craft. I cannot handle to pace, so am stepping off the racetrack (if I may be allowed to warp a metaphor?).
Aerodynamite will be standing on the shoulders of these giants of MP3 bloggers by swiping their hard work and passing it of as it’s own on Tumblr (a lazy persons blogging platform).

Morgan @ StrictlySocial Twittered that he 1/. he needs this remix, and 2/. he wants to DJ in that DJ booth… I agree on both counts! Sadly it would seem that this particular mix is Ledger’s own and he is keeping it… I’m still holding out for making it to that DJ booth!
DJ Earworm’s latest exploit is Reckoner Lockdown, a mashup of Radiohead’s “The Reckoner” and Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown”. Check out Earworm’s site for more fantastic mashups and even links to his book on the subject of mashups…
Kitsune have done a little Mix for Dazed Digital. The mix, is taken from the new album entitled Maision 6 (the 6th in the Masion series) and is a belting collection of 8 elctro-tastic tracks that should keep you out of trouble for 8 min or so!
Lenlow has done some pretty cool mashups. Hailing from Boston in the US, you can find out more about him at his MySpace.
J-Lo vs K-Co vs S-Wo – A splendid blend of J-lo, Nirvana and Stevie Wonder that is not to be missed! Quite old now (2004) but still a cracking mashup.
Bjorn Slippy – Not as good as the above, but a great idea never the less!

A classic mashup from Ludachrist. The theme tune from the classic 80’s movie meets one of Flipmode Squad’s finest – Dangerous. This positively cannot fail to get a room jumping. It comes from a longer mix which is available here.
This, as you will be able to tell, was a missingtoof original. I hope they don’t mind me cribbing it. Be sure to check them out for more great content like this (although they have been down for the last couple of days).
Aerodynamite (named after a remix of Daft Punk’s Aerodynamic from the album Daft Club) is a blog focusing on remix, mashup and DJ culture.
I’ll be presenting you with the gems I find as I sift through the quagmire searching for things to use in my own work. I do hope you’ll enjoy the journey and will chip in with comments and suggestions along the way.
